How to Make the Digidigida Animation

The signature charm of the Digidigida trend is its snappy, rhythmic tweening. Whether you are animating Gacha characters, Fundamental Paper Education (FPE) oc’s, or original hand-drawn art, follow this proven 4-step pipeline.

The Creator Pipeline

01

Prepare Character Cutouts (PNGs)

IbisPaint X, Clip Studio, or Gacha Club

Separate your character into independent layers: Head, Torso, Left Arm, Right Arm, and Lower Body. Export each layer as a transparent PNG with 300 DPI.

02

Import Audio & Set Beat Markers

CapCut, Alight Motion, or After Effects

Import the 128 BPM 'Digi Digi Da' sound file. Drop beat markers on every syllable: Di-Gi-Di-Gi-Da. This provides the exact timing grid for your motion keyframes.

03

Apply Rhythmic Bobbing Keyframes (Tweening)

Position & Rotation Keyframing

On each 'Di-Gi', lower the torso Y-position by 25px and tilt the head 4 degrees clockwise. On the 'Da', spring the character back up with an 'Ease-Out' velocity curve.

04

Add Fake Collab or Background Effects

Split-Screen & Greenscreen Overlay

Position your character on the left side of the canvas. Leave the right 50% blank with a subtle 'Your OC Here' cue so other TikTok creators can duet your video.

Keyframe Motion Curve (Ease Settings)

To avoid stiff, robotic motion, configure your animation graphs with these cubic-bezier values:

The Down-Dip (Compression)

Duration: 4 frames. Heavy ease-in for snappy impact.

cubic-bezier(0.25, 0.1, 0.25, 1.0)
The Up-Bounce (Anticipation)

Duration: 8 frames. Slight overshoot with elastic ease-out.

cubic-bezier(0.175, 0.885, 0.32, 1.275)
